Colette's birthday money

Colette got a lot of money to spend for her birthday. She kept looking at the toys, and saying, "I can afford this!". She was so cute. I kept telling her, Colette, you can get like six of those!

So, what did she end up spending her money on?

A new backpack. And lunch box. And water bottle (it has hello kitty on it). and for good measure, she threw a slip-n-slide in there.

Here she is with her new backpack:

Look at this!

I snapped these pics of the kids today while we were waiting for our custard at Freddy's Frozen Custard (It's really good, btw). I LOVE the way they turned out, especially Gavin's!

Riding Bikes

A couple weeks ago, we took the kids to a park near us (OP Schnable) and let them ride their bikes on the trails. They had a ton of fun.

Baby Gibs

Saturday I went to lunch with my sister and her kids. Gibs (Gibson) is teething, so I was mean... I gave him my pickle to chew on. Well, he really liked it. He started screaming whenever we took it away. so, he ate (gummed into a mushy consistency) almost the whole pickle.

After lunch, we went to the mall. Vi rode in a little car stroller, and she loved it. She was so good the whole time.

Garner trip

I realized this morning that I hadn't ever posted pics from our camping trip to Garner on my blog. So...... Here they are!

Jeremy set up Anthony's tent for him, because he actually broke his arm (in a motorcycle accident) on his way there!

Here is our lovely tent:

Here is Anthony at Dairy Queen, with his soft cast on:

Our friend Travis doesn't have a tent, so he used our kid's. He slept in this lovely bumblebee for the weekend:

Even with a broken arm, Anthony is a good cook:

Jeremy decided to be nice and help him out:

We went hiking up this really high cliff. There was a beautiful view:

This was the entrance to the cave. I didn't go in.

Even Anthony braved the cliff with us.

This is a picture of the cliff we hiked:

We had fun on our trip, even though Anthony got hurt. He ended up going home early, and he actually had to have surgery on his arm later. He is a lot better now, though!
