Houston Trip, Part 2

These are more pics from our trip to Houston.

Saturday morning, we went to the Space Center with Anthony. It was actually really close to his apartment. We saw a lot of really cool stuff there.

These jets are outside the entrance.

We sat down and watched a short video about space flight...

And saw some cool artifacts from the space program.

Jeremy's not an artifact, but I took a picture of him anyway. :)

The kids touched a rock from the moon.

And pretended they were working at the mission control

They had this huge moonbounce that the kids loved.

This McDonald's is right next to the Space Center. We ate breakfast there (they had coupons for the Space Center). I liked the astronaut on top.

Houston Trip, Part 1

Last weekend we went to Houston. I have family there, and our very good friend Anthony lives there.

We drove up on Friday, and we got there at about 5pm. After we unpacked the car, we went to the Kemah Boardwalk with Anthony.

The kids loved seeing the water (and some fish) and the boats.

We let Colette ride on the carousel (Gavin threw a fit when we tried to take him on it, so he didn't ride). She was excited, and sat in a cup with another boy. She looked pretty upset with him when he started spinning the cup during the ride.

This cool old police car was sitting on the boardwalk, so we got some pics in front of it.

Then we sat down and ate some dippin dots. we chilled on the benches for a while.

While we were sitting down, we looked at all the rides.

And the sunset was beautiful.

I have lots more pics from Houston - I should be able to post more tomorrow.

My To-Do List

I tried to upload pictures last night, but Photobucket didn't let me. Sooooo, instead of some pretty pics from our houston trip & Katies Bridal Pics, I will share this week's to do list with you.

To make myself feel better, I'm going to put everything on there, even the stuff I've already done.

This week, I have to:

-finish editing Katie's bridal pics

-post Katie's bridal pics

*-edit Houston pics

*-post Houston pics

-go grocery shopping

-get oil & filter

-do laundry

-change our sheets

-drop off old clothes @ Goodwill

-vacuum the house

-clean up living room

-clean off treadmill

-work out

-wash car

-clean out trunk

-preliminary July budget

Hopefully I can get everything done this week!

Before the rain

We went to the park a while back with Amber & Hope. It started raining whie we were walking! I don't have any pics of that, but I do have some pics from before the rain...

And, I'm excited - this weekend we are going to Houston! I have family there that I haven't seen in 10 years. They've never met my kids! We also have a close friend who lives on the outskirts of Houston, so we are going to see him. And there is a possibility of going to the beach for a bit. :)
