Pattern Review - Simplicity 2614

http://sewing.patternreview.com/cgi-bin/search.pl?CompanyID=45&search=search&PatternNumber=2614

Pattern Description: Pullover, bias-cut top
Pattern Sizing: I made the 6 B

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Sort of – I combined two views.

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? This pattern was pretty simple. I love that it doesn’t have a zipper or buttons – makes it simple to make and to wear.

Fabric Used: rayon/ cotton blend

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: If I make this pattern again (which I probably will, I love it), I will make it probably two inches longer at the bottom, and I will definitely make the arm bands looser – mine are snug.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, it’s an awesome shirt that it simple but not plain. It is very easy to make.

Conclusion: this pattern is great, the top is a great wardrobe staple. I would make a few small changes, but overall I really like this top.

OMG, you made that? Looks great! I would so love to learn how to sew but I have a tendency to get obsessed with hobbies and I already have way too many. :) I was just thinking about you yesterday that you haven't posted in awhile. I hope all is well and that you have just been super busy. I know how that happens. Take care and have a wonderful spring!!
